The RGCQ invites you to this new Conference-Cocktail in Gatineau, on The Drafting of By-laws, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail.
Your guest speaker, Me Christine GAGNON, notary emeritus, doctor of law and partner with Gagnon Bujold notaires, Quebec City, will accompany you for the evening.
Ms. Gagnon will also be presenting her most recent book, "GUIDE DE LA RÉGLEMENTATION EN COPROPRIÉTÉ DIVISE" which was written in collaboration with Me Yves Papineau Ad.E. The first volume of its kind in Quebec, dealing with this important subject for condominium syndicates.
The book covers a wide range of co-ownership regulatory issues, including :
- The distinctions that must be made with rules that should instead be found in the Constitution
- Regulations governing the conditions of use of parts of the building;
- Regulations governing the holding of boards of directors and general meetings of co-owners;
- Limits to the regulations;
- General drafting advice;
- The role of professionals.
The conference will be followed by a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres, where you can chat with Me Gagnon, condominium professionals and other condominium owners in attendance.
