The RGCQ invites you to its regional conference in Estrie, to be held in Orford on Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.

New obligations for co-ownership syndicates, regardless of their size

As of 2026, co-ownership syndicates must concretely address the new obligations arising from the regulation implementing Bill 16, particularly with respect to the maintenance logbook and the contingency fund.

Whether your co-ownership is small, medium, or large, these requirements raise very practical questions for directors, managers, and involved co-owners: where to begin, what to prioritize, which documents to prepare, and how to avoid costly mistakes.

Key takeaways:

This conference will help you understand the main obligations applicable to co-ownership syndicates and translate them into concrete actions adapted to the reality of co-ownerships of all sizes. Topics covered will include:

  • Maintenance logbook
  • Contingency fund
  • Obligations of co-ownership syndicates
  • Action priorities for co-ownerships
  • Best practices for planning and complying with the new requirements

This event will also be an excellent opportunity to connect with the new members of the Estrie board of directors, who played a key role in the creation of this new chapter, as well as with several members of the RGCQ provincial board of directors.
