This conference aims to clarify the new obligations introduced by the legislation, focusing on three key pillars: the certificate of compliance, the maintenance logbook, and the reserve fund.

What you need to know:

• Syndicate certificate: now more detailed at the time of sale
• Maintenance logbook: mandatory and revised every 5 years (or every 10 years for small buildings)
• Reserve fund study: required every 5 years
• Protected deposits: held in trust (notary, lawyer, or CPA)
