We are pleased to invite you to our Symposium on the Regulation of Bill 16, which will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Club De Golf Métropolitain d'Anjou , starting at 9:00 a.m.

Following the publication by the Government of Quebec on July 30 in the Official Gazette, the coming into force of Bill 16 marks an important turning point in the management of condominiums in Quebec. This symposium aims to clarify the new obligations it introduces, focusing on three now-essential pillars: the certificate of compliance, the maintenance logbook, and the contingency fund.

What you need to know:

  • Mandatory maintenance logbook, revised every 5 years (or 10 years for small buildings)
  • Contingency fund study every 5 years
  • Deposits protected via trust (notary, lawyer, CPA)
  • More detailed certificate from the syndicate upon sale

Designed to address the concerns of both small, large condominiums and the professionnel this event will provide you with essential guidance to anticipate, plan, and comply with the new legal requirements.

Program:

9:00 a.m.: Welcome of participants and opening of the conference (Coffee, networking, visit of partner booths)
