We are pleased to invite you to our Special Conference on the Regulation of Bill 16, which will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Victoria Social Club, starting at 9:00 AM.

Following the Government of Quebec's publication on September 11 of a highly significant draft regulation in the Official Gazette, we would like to inform you that once this regulation is adopted, it will implement major provisions of Bills 16 and 31. This legislative change will bring substantial modifications to the Civil Code of Quebec, introducing new obligations for co-ownership syndicates regarding transparency, financial management, and building maintenance.

We strongly encourage you to attend this RGCQ conference, as your voice is crucial in shaping the future of co-ownership management. This morning will be a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and showcase your perspectives, actively contributing to the evolution of the regulation.

During this event, we will address critical points such as:

  1. The Maintenance Logbook: Importance and Review
  2. The Reserve Fund Study
  3. Compliance Management: Syndicate Attestation during the Sale of a Condominium Unit, Trust Deposit of the Down Payment, and Transitional Provisions and Implementation

Throughout the conference, you will also have the chance to explore several booths hosted by our partners.
