The Regroupement des gestionnaires et copropriétaires du Québec (RGCQ) is a non-profit organization that promotes sound management and good governance in condominiums. We safeguard the interests of co-owners and directors and ensure that services rendered by building managers respect ethical guidelines. Maintaining and preserving co-owned buildings is at the very core of our mission.
The leading spokesperson for co-owners, directors and building managers, the RGCQ has always been a driving force for the creation and implementation of standardized management and administration practices in condominiums. Why? Because standardization plays a key role in protecting the capital value of our co-owners’ units.
Looking at the example set by the Desjardins Group and its cooperative business structure, the RGCQ has opened three chapters in as many regions: Montréal, Québec City and Gatineau. The provincial RGCQ headquarters, which oversees the local chapters, is run by a board of directors composed of elected members from each chapter and has a mandate to coordinate the chapters’ joint activities.
The RGCQ is there to contribute to the sector’s development. The RGCQ belongs to our members, is managed locally by duly nominated directors, and offers the highest quality services.
